Part 1 In this part, the examiner asks you about yourself, your home, work or studies and other familiar topics.
  • What subjects are you studying?
  • Do you like your subject?
  • Why did you choose to study that subject?
  • Is it very interesting?
  • Do you prefer to study in the morning or in the afternoon?
  • Are you looking forward to working?
Part 2
In this part, you will have to talk about the topic for one to two minutes. You have one minute to think about what you are going to say. You can make some notes to help you if you wish.
  • Describe a person who solved a problem in a smart way
  • You should say:
  • Who this person is
  • What the problem was
  • How he/she solved it
  • And explain why you think he/she did it in a smart way
Part 3 In this part, the examiner asks you a few more detailed questions about the same topic.
  • Do you think children are born smart or they learn to become smart?
  • How do children become smart at school?
  • Why are some people well-rounded and others only good at one thing?
  • Why does modern society need talents of all kinds?
  • Do you think clever people are bad at some things? What things can clever people be bad at?
