Thank you for these practice questions. Really helpful. For the date of arrival, I've put "28th of November" but it was marked incorrect. I was surprised to see the exact same sentence in the audio transcript. I wonder why it was marked that way.
Welcome, Nour. Pay attention to the instructions of the question "ONE WORD AND/OR A NUMBER" - (of November) are two words - so your answer has been marked incorrect. Secondly, the date is usually written without of; namely, [28(th) November] NOT [28(th) of November].

Hey thanks for the platform it helps a lot there is a minore issue i want to mantion i wrote the answer Nov 28th which is considered acceptable in all formats but it marked as a mistake here.
Hello Taha. You are absolutely right, but '28 November' is the only correct answer available in the official Cambridge answer key. Naturally, we will work to make similar answers acceptable.

Thank you for this amazing test preparation. I got wrong in No.8. I've put in November 28, Should I put in 28 November? I can not figure out the difference. Can anyone kindly explain the reason?
Hi Minsoo. Both answers are correct, but unfortunately, '28 November' is the only correct answer available in the official Cambridge answer key, and we stick to the answer key.

9/10 - only single mistake due to date format - 28th of November instead 28(th) November
Mike ConwayMar 17, 2024
In the official test, will the answer be marked incorrectly if we put November 28 or November 28th or will there be a word bank? It seems rather silly to lose a point over format ( November 28, November 28th, 28 November)

I type 28(th) November, for question number 3, but it says it's not correct while the correct one written by the website is exactly the same as mine. What's the problem? How am I supposed to type it?
Any corrected answer containing parentheses "()" means that the answer can include the text in parentheses or not. In other words, "28 November" and "28th November" are both correct answers. So, don't write the parantheses.
Zahra JabbariMay 14, 2024
Why is wrong(28 November)?
It's correct. You deserve ONE mark for this. Sorry for this error.

Hello Sally. When the test is finished, three icons will appear on the left side of the screen: Review, Audioscript , and Retest. By clicking the Audioscript button, you can play the audio while viewing the script.
